A new reggae night that has proved popular with Hemel Hempstead’s more chilled out crowd will be returning to the town centre’s Cheri’s Bar and Kitchen this weekend.

Diverse Collective presents Open the Gate Sound – Fenomeno Show and MC Samurai from London – on Saturday night.

Roots reggae, dub, dancehall and remixes will be played from 9pm to 2am.

There will also be Caribbean food on offer at the Marlowes venue including jerk chicken, rice and peas, patties and much more.

Partygoers can join in with some African drumming with Herts Drum Circle and enjoy the easy going vibe that the night has got to offer, all for the £5 entry price.

This is the fourth reggae event to be held at the bar – previously the home of Jumpin Jaks bar – and it is going to become a regular monthly fixture. For more dairy dates search Diverse Collective or Cheri’s Bar and Kitchen on Facebook.
