The workshops are for everyone aged six and older and will incorporate the singing of songs from the movie, script work, arts and crafts and much more.

The week, organised by Tom Gribby Theatre Arts, will finish with a short performance for parents and friends on the Friday.

The workshops will be taught by leading West End theatre professionals, including Tom, who is about to perform in Hairspray and choreograph Thoroughly Modern Millie, starring Russell Grant.

Tom said: “No experience is necessary, just bring a drinks bottle, snack and lunch.”

The cost of the course is £175, with a 25% discount for anyone who brings a sibling.

The course is ahead of the relaunch of Tom Gribby Theatre Arts in Berkhamsted, to be held at Espinosa’s Arts Centre weekly during term time on Sundays 2pm to 5pm. The three-hour classes cost £18 each.

As well as classes in acting, singing and dancing with leading industry professionals, students will be working towards a show termly.

This will start off with The Adventures of Roald Dahl, which will have excerpts from well known shows such as Matilda and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Tom Gribby Theatre Arts was launched last year and up until now as based in the Berkhamsted Friends Meeting House, 289 High Street.
