JOIN Leverstock Green Players next weekend for a Stateside trip to remember.
A review style variety show From New York to LA will take you from the East Coast to the West Coast, via the Deep South and the Midwest.
Sit back and enjoy a selection of many well known tunes intertwined with sketches, comedy songs and dances.
The Players’ summer production is produced this year by Ian Payne and Kate Munro, who said: “We are hoping that this show will have something in it for everyone.
“With an American theme it was very difficult to choose the songs but we hope we’ve got a great mix of both old and new, which everyone will recognise.”
Leverstock Green Players have been going since the mid 1970s putting on two shows a year – one in the winter and one in the summer, and many members have enjoyed being part of the team since the early days.
This year Mandi Brunetti gets up on stage for the first time, but her daughters Becki and Jessi are both already Players, and her mum was a longstanding member of the crew.
Another company stalwart is Kath Reeve, who recently celebrated being 80 years young and is still treading those boards with aplomb.
