Other workshops include looking at techniques to help you present fully rounded characters to your audiences, exploring stage presence and vocal techniques, demystifying Sondheim’s work, falling in love with Shakespeare, and illuminating the role of the professional stage manager.
Course leaders include West End actress and drama teacher Victoria Croft, graduate of the Royal Northern College of Music and a teacher at the Arts Educational School in Tring Dan Cowtan, former stage manager Lucy Rix, Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art graduate Karina Bygate, LAMDA teacher Maggie Harvey and Director of the Pendley Open Air Shakespeare Festival Sarah Branston.
HHTC has been putting on performances since 1925 and has owned its own theatre, the Boxmoor Playhouse, since 1997. They put on two musicals and two dramatic productions every year.
