A splash of Spanish style as the Bard comes to the Old Town Hall

You don’t often get a chance to sit down and savour Shakespeare in Hemel Hempstead – but there’s a performance at the Old Town Hall next week of one of the Bard’s best-loved comedies.

Much Ado About Nothing is being staged at the High Street venue by Traffic Of The Stage theatre company, which has switched the action from Sicily to 18th century Spain.

But there’s still plenty of swagger and swordplay as well as two pairs of lovers sparring and sparking off each other.

Wednesday’s show starts at 8pm and tickets are £10 (£8 concessions, £6 Dacorum Card) – call 01442 228 091 or visit www.oldtownhall.co.uk to check availability.
