Photographer Stuart Grieve is just one of the Dacorum artists who will be taking part in this year’s Open Studios programme, which gets under way on Saturday.
He’ll be welcoming visitors to his Potten End base to show them how he goes about creating memorable images.
Stuart, a former pilot who has been taking photographs for nearly 60 years.
The Open Studios programme runs until Sunday, September 29 and offers established, emerging and amateur artists to open their doors to the public.
Artists show a wide range of work – and visitors can buy if they want to. Many join forces so that visitors can enjoy and examine the work or two, three or more artists in the same location.
It’s an opportunity to talk to artists in their own creative settings, own a piece of original artwork, or buy that special gift such as jewellery or collectibles.
Many artists and makers welcome commissions, and you can find out the full programme by visiting the Herts Visual Arts website at www.hvaf.org.uk
