Organisers have now released the final batch of tickets for this year’s Herts Jazz Festival, which runs from Friday to Sunday at Welwyn Garden City’s Hawthorne Theatre.
Headlining are Georgie Fame, Django Bates and Stan Tracey – who will also be appearing in Berkhamsted next month – alongside the cream of the British jazz scene.
And the programme also includes six free sessions in the theatre foyer with trios led by Leon Greening, Nigel Price, Arnie Somogyi, Clark Tracey, Alan Barnes and James Pearson.
It’s the third year that the festival has been held, and last year’s event won a five-star review from The Times
Artistic director Clark Tracey said: “We’ve got three of Britain’s jazz giants headlining and a fantastic range of artists performing over the whole weekend. It is going to be a really great Festival for jazz-lovers.”
