A popular local band who met when they were still at Hemel Hempstead School but called it a day 12 months ago after 13 years of making music are getting back together for a charity gig this weekend.
The Expensive Habits are topping the bill at Studham’s Red Lion pub on Sunday.
The fundraiser in aid of children’s’ cancer charity CLIC Sargent runs from 3pm to 8pm and also features The Common People, Echo and Michael Hunt, who performed at the opening of new Hemel Hempstead town centre music bar Cheri’s earlier this month.
And the concert will be opened by a special guest in the form of local lad Heston Harris, who has benefited from the exceptional care offered by the charity.
Red Lion landlord Garry Ellis said: “Everyone is welcome to come, have a drink and enjoy listening to some great home grown musical talent. Food will be available until 6pm.
“It would be wonderful if we could make this an annual event.”
