MEET Mitzie Green. She’s just one of 26 artists in Dacorum who are opening their homes to display their work to the public.
Her house – 14 Meadway, Berkhamsted – was welcoming art lovers at the weekend.
And it will be open again between noon and 5pm on Saturday and Sunday for the next two weeks, and it is also open today from 2pm to 8pm.
Her display – which includes Moorish Town, above, priced at £150 – is part of the Herts Open Studios project that runs from Saturday, September 10, to Sunday, October 2.
Mitizie said: “I like the idea, because it enables you to get in touch with people.
“People can come for a drink and a chat, see your work and ask lots of questions that they would not be able to in a gallery.”
