Another big name has been snared by the team at the Get Stuffed comedy club, with Alun Cochrane this weekend’s headliner at the Court Theatre in Tring.
The laconic comic is a familiar face on TV panel shows with shifts on Mock The Week under his belt, as well as appearances on radio’s evergreen Just A Minute.
Alun, raised in Yorkshire, has been described as one of the most natural stand-ups on the circuit. £12 will get you a ticket to Saturday night’s show, which starts at 8pm.
Comedy is also on the bill at Hemel Hempstead’s Old Town Hall on Friday night, where The Treason Show call in for the first of three scheduled dates during the current season.
The show is supported by a 30 strong writing team and a multi-talented cast, who train their beady eye on what’s in the news with topical sketches and satirical songs!
The Guardian has called them ‘savagely funny and fantastically silly’ and you’ll need to be 18 or over to secure a seat. Tickets are £9.50 (£7.50 concessions) for an 8pm start – call 01442 228091 or visit www.dacorum.gov.uk/arts
