Dynamic duo Ralph and Haydn Williams are celebrating their selection to compete for the British Judo squad at Antwerp in December.

Last year, as a result of their success in the British National Competition, the 12-year-old twins were invited to join Team BJC at Tamworth for extra training with a view to being selected for the British squad.

After turning 12 last month they were hoping they would make the junior squad.

Ralph was the first to get confirmation of selection and, with Haydn winning a further gold medal at the BJC National Team event last weekend, his call-up soon followed.

The twins will be competing in The Ippon Trophy at Antwerp in December and are looking forward to travelling there as a team with the rest of the junior squad.

The boys train at Bury Judo Club and are coached by Roy Smith.
