Golfers of all abilities will be able to play for free at the Little Hay Golf Complex in Bovingdon at an open day this month.
Sportspace, who run the complex, are planning the open day in partnership with Little Hay Golf Club on Saturday, April 12 to showcase the facilities and activities on offer as they look to encourage more people to get involved in the sport.
Little Hay prides itself on being a golf course that is open to everyone on a pay and play basis. This means that anyone can just turn up and play, with no golf handicap required and no requirement to join a club.
The complex will open its doors from 10am to 4pm with a range of activities for the whole family to try out.
Free taster lessons for all levels will be on offer together with free pitch and putt. In addition, an 18-hole round on the course will be only £12 per person on the day and food will also be available.
For those who are interested in playing golf regularly there will also be the chance to buy a yearly ticket for the course, guaranteeing 12 months of golf for the price of 10 months.
However, if you want to develop your game, obtain a handicap and have the opportunity to play in competitions, members from Little Hay Golf Club will be on hand at the open day to provide information about the club’s activities and how to join it.
There will be a special deal on the membership price, in addition to friendly help and advice.
