With the World Cup having come to an end, Hemel Stags are urging the community to come together and show their support for Hertfordshire’s number one rugby league club.

The Stags – based at the Pennine Way Stadium – are currently challenging strongly for an end of season play-off place in Kingstone Press Championship One, and this Sunday play host to South Wales Scorpions.

The Scorpions are a side they have already defeated in the league and Challenge Cup this season, and Hemel will be confident of completing the hat-trick when the game gets under way at 2.30pm.

Stags are steadily building their fan base, so whether you are a fan who has not visited the Pennine Way Stadium in a while, a curious onlooker, or a complete newbie looking for another sport to follow, the club promises a warm welcome.

A Stags spokesman said: “Please do come along and watch the wonderful summer sport of rugby league; we are sure you will not be disappointed.”

Ticket Prices are £12 for adults, £6 for concessions (U18s, Dacorum Card Holders and over-60s), and £1 for U16s.

Any tickets pre-purchased online from the Stags website will include a 25 per cent discount on adult and concession prices.
