IT was a day to remember at Berkhamsted Tennis and Squash Club as they welcomed squash superstars to the court.

Former world number one Peter Nicol and former national coach Paul Carter joined Berkhamsted head coach Adam Fuller for a day of fundraising at the club.

Money raised will go towards the cost of hospital treatment for Luna Petagine, a four-year-old girl from Watford who is suffering from an Ependymoma brain tumour– a rare form of cancer.

16 people paid £100 each to receive coaching from the trio, before the club hosted an exhibition match between current world number one Nick Matthew and British champion Daryl Selby.

There was also an auction, which helped towards the total of £7,500 which has been raised so far.
