HEMEL Stags saw off Bramley Buffaloes 60-14 at Pennine Way on Sunday.
Martin Smith was the star of the show as he bagged a hat-trick for the second successive week.
He helped his side to its biggest win of the season and to end a three-match losing streak.
Smith was off the mark on seven minutes, when Illia Radan jinked away from two tacklers to score unopposed.
Bramley scored a penalty, before Smith scored his second minutes later, spinning away from the cover over 60m before sending Ash Fyson into the corner and Ryan Butcher added the touchline conversion.
Lameck Juma took the score to 28-6 at the break.
Hemel started the second half strongly with three tries in two minutes from Smith.
Then good work by the Hemel backs saw the ball go out left and Eddie M’Baraga offloaded to Alex Anthony who touched down in the corner.
Bramley saw a conversion attempt hit the post, but with 10 minutes to go, Butcher hung in the air, allowing Fyson to out jump his marker and touch down.
Bramley hit back, but Butcher sealed the win in the final minute.
