Beat the heat with Winter Olympics contender Ed Drake at Hemel Hempstead Snow Centre on bank holiday Monday.
The giant slope will be transformed with competitive starting gates, artificial bumps, turns and wu-tangs on a one day only ski and board challenge.
Contenders from complete novice to budding pro can line up at the starting gate, race an Olympian or enjoy the thrill of speeding over the rollers with friends and family.
You’ll be able to hit the slopes between 10am and 5pm on Monday, August 26 and make the most of two hour lift passes for the price of one, 20 per cent off pre-booked slope time and the chance to benefit from pro hints and tips from the best in the business.
Ed, who hopes to compete in the ski cross event at next year’s Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, said: “This such a great opportunity to enjoy some competitive fun on the snow, whether you’re a complete novice or a budding pro!
“The open session will let you experience your snow sport in a different way and it’s a chance to challenge your friends or family to see who’s the fastest.
“The coaching session will be excellent too – I’ll be keeping an eye out for any future Olympians!”
One hour coaching sessions for just £29 will run between 5pm and 8pm and offer the chance to race down the full ski and boarder cross course with style.
Book before Wednesday, August 14 to enjoy a one hour coaching session for just £20 or add the coaching session to your daytime lift pass for just £10.
