It was a closely contested tournament, with 36 children taking part throughout the afternoon.

The winners were the Galley Hill A Team, which included Jessica Woodley, Harvey Griffin, Lucas Bennett and Emma Birtchwell.

Runners-up were reigning champions Leverstock Green, and Galley Hill will now represent Dacorum at the Herts games on June 26.

Leverstock Green Tennis Club continues to work closely with schools in Dacorum to ensure as many children as possible are able to try out and develop their tennis skills.

The club offers open sessions to non-members on Saturday mornings from 9.45am-10.45am (age 4-7); 10.45am-11.45am (age 7-11); and 11.45am-12.45pm (age 11+).
