Some of the top instructors in Europe were on hand to offer tips and advice at the inaugural Shotokan Karate masterclass hosted by Seishinkai Shotokan Karate International at Hemel Hempstead School.

Sensei Dave Hazard 7th Dan and Sensei Aidan Trimble 7th Dan joined course host Sensei Malcolm Phipps 8th Dan for the event which attracted black and brown belt fighters from across the country.

The seminar covered all aspects of karate – from basic movement and advanced kata to self-defence – and, after its successful first outing, the masterclass will now be an annual event.
