League titles for the Gadebridge juniors after impressive campaigns

The junior teams from Gadebridge Badminton Club ended the season in style as they clinched two titles in the Aylesbury Junior Badminton League.

The league is divided into three divisions, with teams based on ability rather than age which makes it an ideal place to start playing competitive badminton.

Teams get a point for each game won and two bonus points for an overall victory.

The league features teams from Berkhamsted, Hemel Hempstead and St Albans, as well as Aylesbury, and Gadebridge impressed in all three divisions.

Gadebridge A won Division One with 63 points, eight points ahead of second-placed Phoenix A. Gadebridge B finished fifth in the same division, with Hemel A in fourth.

Gadebridge C romped to a 27-point victory in Division Two, while Gadebridge D missed out on the title by just four points in Division Three.

They were 15 points ahead of third-placed Hemel B, while Gadebridge E finished the season in fifth position.
