Clubs across Hertfordshire are backing National Golf Month with a range of activities to support the drive to get more people playing the game.
National Golf Month will be held across the UK in May and Hertfordshire’s clubs will offer a wide range of opportunities to attract beginners and returners to the sport. They include taster sessions, coaching, playing opportunities and membership offers.
Emma Whitlock, the Hertfordshire county development officer, said: “We’re very excited about National Golf Month because Hertfordshire has so much to offer beginners and returners to golf.
“Golf is a great game for everyone who enjoys friendship, fresh air and exercise. It can bring impressive health and wellbeing benefits and it’s the perfect sport for bringing people together. There’s never been a better time to start.”
