Hemel Stags have crossed the Channel to add to their squad with the signing of 19-year-old Romain Navarette.
Navarette played 15 first grade games for the French club last season and can play as either a prop or second row.
Hemel Stags head coach Troy Perkins said: “I am really happy to have Romain on board. He is a young prop with plenty of potential and, after watching some footage of him, I know he will do a god job for us.
“He has a good frame, carries the ball well and is really aggressive. He was at Limoux last season where he played plenty of first grade with former Superleague stars Clint Greenshields and Casey McGuire as his team-mates.
“I have spoken to his coach Karl Temata and he had plenty of good things to say about him.”
Stags are hopeful that this deal will lead to a good link between Hemel and Limoux in the future.
