A team of golfers took part in a gruelling charity fundraiser on Friday as they tackled the Macmillan Cancer Support Longest Day Golf Challenge.

Hemel Hempstead’s Neil Parkins joined Mark Flashman, Keith Flashman and Matthew Jones in playing 72 consecutive holes at Little Hay.

Neil said: “At the end of last year, I sadly lost my cousin Pam to cancer at the age of 39, so in tribute to Pam and the other members of my family who have been affected by cancer, we would like to give something back to Macmillan.”
