Tring had a comfortable 91-70 win against Dunstable this week, with top rink going to Terry Floyd, Trish Hewetson and Malcolm Watson.
The club followed up with another resounding win, this time 112-81 against Wendover. Top rink went to John Bannister, Ian Croad and Malcolm Watson.
In their Ray Cup match against Kings Langley, Tring went down 67-56, but the ladies had a successful week.
They won their Watford & District league fixture 21-18 against Bushey, while Zena Livesey overcame her opponent from Bushey 21-9 in the County Singles competition.
Lyn Boniface had a triple success, winning her Ladies’ Unbadged County Singles match 21-2 against Pat Gascoyne of Garston, while she overcame Audrey Shuttleworth from Garston 21-9 in the Ladies’ County Singles and beat Jackie Chambers from Kings Langley 21-11 in the W&D Singles.

The Potten End ladies travelled to North Watford to play a County League match and won 25-9, with highest winning rink going to Sheila Howling, Jean Jones, Pam Smith and Sue Marshall.
The ladies also played Dunstable, winning 50-48, with top rink played by Jean Murphy, Nicola Bloor, Isabelle Knowles and Paula Gillings.
On Saturday, the club had a mixed four triples match at Redbourn, but were beaten 95-55.
Following that, the club played the W&D President’s team in their centenary year and Potten End won 114-74, with a highest rink of Jack Bunting, Howling, Knowles and Tony Howard.
The men, meanwhile, played against Berkhamsted in the Griffin Cup and won 46-34, before beating Riverain 4-0 in the County Top Ten to move through to the quarter-finals.
In action elsewhere, Graham Floyd and Phil Bunting progressed to the next round of the W&D Pairs by beating a team from Croxley.
Kitcheners travelled to Hemel Hempstead for a four-rink mixed match and secured a 94-54 victory with a highest rink of Alan Doydge, Albert Graydon, Shirley Seager and Peter Burt.
The club then played Bovingdon in the Griffin Cup and won 47-29, before drawing 93-all in a five-rink mixed triples clash with Rickmansworth. Highest triples were Jennie Tipton, Chris Ivin and Steve Delderfield.
On Sunday, Kitcheners took on Bovingdon again in a four-rink mixed triples match and lost 80-56. Highest triples were Ken Woodward, Albert Graydon and Enid Rance.
It was a week of mixed results for Berkhamsted Bowls Club, with a handful of wins and losses.
The week started well enough with Anne Cutting and Liz Temple beating two ladies from Garston 26-23 in a close fought match in the Watford & District Ladies’ Pairs.
However the men were knocked out of the Griffin Cup by two teams from Potten End, losing on both rinks.
Things looked up at the end of the week when Berkhamsted narrowly beat a team from Potters Bar in a friendly match by 66 shots to 64 with a top team of Nigel Ekert, Linda Ralphs and Terry Kenyon.
The week did not end so well when the men lost to Garston in the National Top Club Team 11.
Kevin Clarke and Steve Burrell won their singles matches but the pairs, triples and fours teams all lost.
