BERKHAMSTED Sport Centre Swimming Club ended the Herts County Championships on a high as they recorded 31 personal best times and broke 11 club records.
The stand-out performer for Berkhamsted was Ellen Northwood who established herself as one of the finest swimmers in the country for her age group.
Northwood won the first heat of the 50m butterfly by over four seconds, setting a new club best.
In doing so, she also confirmed her position as one of the top couple of swimmers in the East Region, as well as securing her place inside the top 50 nationwide.
There were strong performances all-round by Berkhamsted, with Mason Brand, Tom Weston, Christian Nel, Jordan Northwood, Tom Strakosch, Jess Potts, Katie Brown, Becky Holden, Ellen Northwood, Amy Stoker, Sophie Durbridge, Sam Gray, Hannah Coulson, Tom Crocker, Ollie Hurst, Emily Kiernan and Tim Warr all setting new PBs.
Warr also broke a club record which had previously stood for 15 years.
