The Berkhamsted gymnasts were in impressive form once again as they passed their grades at the Hertfordshire Gymnastics Grading Awards.

Rheia Caton passed HAGA 1 with the top score of the day, and Hannah Brown, Amelia Rutherford, Lottie Webster, Bethany Firman, Tom Sandon and Charlotte Byron also picked up their grade one honours.

Meanwhile, Berkhamsted Gymnastics Club member Amelia Evans has secured a place in the regional team for the national finals later this month.

Team-mate Poppy Wager Leigh missed out on the regional squad by just 0.35 of a mark, while Amber Penalligan passed her grade in the National Grade 8 competition.

Elsewhere, Lydia Sellen, Elizabeth Rowlands and Lucy Phippen have all been selected for the Hertfordshire gymnastics squad after impressing the county coaches in Stevenage.

And to round off an excellent month for the club, Berkhamsted gymnast Betty Naylor finished in first place in the 11+ agecategory at Miss Alpha Factor 2013.

Betty headed home with four merit awards, the first place sash, a tiara and an Olympic edition Barbie doll.
