The Berkhamsted ladies’ first team got back to winning ways with a 1-0 home victory against Broxbourne.
Claire Barrett-Mold got the goal and they could have had a hatful had it not been for an inspired goalkeeping performance from the away keeper.
The breakthrough came with less than ten minutes to go as Abi Lawlor shot across the D and Barrett-Mold was able to tap the ball into an empty net.
She almost added a second moments later when she shot narrowly wide from Hannah Prentice’s cross.
Player of the match was Emma Potts who joined in on the attacking action with some rare forays into the opposition D.
