A charitable drive from the Little Hay golfers

With wet weather preventing serious golf competition, members of Little Hay Golf Club have been swinging their clubs for charity instead.

The ladies’ Christmas lunch was a huge success and the raffle raised £237 which will go to the lady captain’s charity, Herts Air Ambulance.

The senior men, meanwhile, are expecting a full house at the charity scramble and lunch followed by a 50/50 sale on January 29.

All proceeds will go to the senior captain’s charity, The Willow Foundation, which provides special days out for seriously ill people.

Elsewhere, on January 24 Little Hay will be holding a Beat the Blues Quiz Night – a fun social evening for all Little Hay GC members and their guests.

In other news at the club, Little Hay’s Linda Reeve has been appointed a member of the Hertfordshire County Ladies Golf Association rules sub-committee.
