Hemel Town have completed the signing of centre-back Eddie Oshodi, who spent a stint at Vauxhall Road at the end of last season.

Oshodi came up through the youth ranks at Watford, and then went on to spend four years at Forest Green before making the headlines in January when he quit professional football at the age of 23.

He had his contract cancelled by mutual consent to allow him to seek a career away from the game, but returned to action with the Tudors in their final few games of the 2014/15 Conference South campaign.

Oshodi was at Melbourne Park for Hemel’s clash with Chelmsford on Monday night, but the defender is still serving a ban for a red card picked up at the end of last season.
