Tring take the points with A-grade display

West Herts League

TRING Athletic A took all three points from hosts Hemel Rovers in their Premier Division clash.

Adam Klyen, James Livingstone and Dan Smethers scored for Tring, with Paul Hanafan bagging the Rovers consolation as the game finished 3-1 to the visitors.

Swr Doors, meanwhile, were beaten 2-1 by Park Street, despite a goal from Stuart Meaney.

Three goals by Kings Sports’ Dakat enabled his team to shade Hadley 3-2, while Division One side Bovingdon were beaten 5-2 at home by Aldenham. Michael Buttleman and James Strivens were on target for Bovvie.

In the same division, two goals from debutante Jordan Aikman and two from Wasim Hussain saw Hemel Rovers Reserves to a 4-3 win at Maple Cross.

Elsewhere, a Louis Cruwys goal was not enough for Division Two outfit Gadebridge FC who went down 2-1 to Rickmansworth St George.

In Division Three, Hemel Sharpshooters were involved in a nine goal thriller but were edged out 5-4 by Langleybury. Nick Reynolds ,Steve Probert, Ben Williams and Lee Savage got the goals for Hemel.

Potten End also tasted defeat as they were beaten 5-3 at Oxhey Jets. Dean Boswell notched a brace with Mike Pettingell getting the third.

Hemel Rovers A were outplayed at Sarratt and were thrashed 7-1. Matt Durrant got the consolation goal for Rovers.
