Tring Athletic ended the year on a high with a 4-0 win over in-form Hertford Town.

Town went into the game on the back of four wins from their previous five games, but Tring had no trouble ending that run.

It was a strong performance from Athletic, and a brace of goals from young striker Stewart King, as well as a strike from Matt Jarvis and an own goal, did the damage.

The victory takes Julian Robinson’s side up one place in the MSSML Premier Division table to sixth - a point behind Dacorum rivals Leverstock Green who have a game in hand.

Tring’s next game is a tough away fixture at Colney Heath on Monday, kick off 3pm.
