The Hemel Hempstead Town U18 squad emphatically returned to winning ways as they hit the AllStars Academy for six at The Middlesex Stadium.

A superb left-footed strike from 25 yards by Callum Liles opened the scoring after 11 minutes, before Terrell Miller made it 2-0 with a clinical strike.

Sam Amadi made it 3-0 and had the chance to add to his personal tally soon afterwards, but the home keeper got down well to keep out his spot-kick.

The second period saw Ben Pattie enter the fray after an injury lay-off, and he quickly showed his ability in and around the box with a fabulous individual goal – latching on to a through-ball down the left and audaciously chipping the keeper from the edge of the box to make it 4-0 to Hemel.

Pattie added another goal with one minute left on the clock, and Benny Fiadzomor tucked away the sixth in injury time with a well taken finish.

The best performances on the night came from dynamic Hemel duo Luke Teakle and Thomas Opoku who put in eye-catching displays for the whole match in difficult circumstances.

Special praise also goes to Pattie who showed real strength of character to come back from his injury set-back and put in an excellent 45 minutes.
