The hot-shot Scotts fire United to victory

Hemel United picked up a good win in the BSFL Premier Division as they saw off Comets Sports Club thanks to a trio of Scotts.

Scott Carrington hit a brace, and Scott Dennis and Scott Porter were also on target in a 4-1 victory.

Division One saw a Marcus Tower hat-trick send VFC on their way to victory over The Midland, with Josh Bundey also netting.

Drays Athletic had Matt Durrant, Chris Wright, Jamie France and James Durrant to thank for a 5-4 win over Blackbirds Rangers.

In Division Two, Comets Reserves beat Landrovers 4-0 in the first game of their double-header – Dave Green (3) and Myles Cash got the goals. The second game finished 0-0.

The Three Tuns had a good win in Division Three, beating Echoes Reserves 4-1 with efforts from Danny Allen (2), Sam Butler and Ricky Charge.

Hemel Corinthians saw off Boxmoor Rangers 3-0 with goals from Paul Hunt, Joe Kemp and Chris Sharples, while Josh Hobbs and James Dykes earned a 2-1 win for Berko Athletic at Park Rangers Reserves.

In Division Four, Herts Fencing thrashed Sporting Blackbirds 5-1 with goals from Craig McMahon, Barrie Crane, Stuart Garnham, Damien Kehoe and Sean Lane, while Ryan Walsham, Lee Harris and Rob Hull earned a 3-0 victory for AMG United at Rose & Crown.
