Hertfordshire FA U18 6
 Dorset FA U18 3

Matt Taylor bagged a brace to help send Hertfordshire FA’s U18 Representative Team into the third round of the FA County Youth Cup.

The midfielder’s two goals in three second-half minutes finally broke the resistance of Dorset in a roller-coaster clash.

Herts made a dream start, going 2-0 ahead with early goals by Elice King and JJ Brown.

But Dorset fought back to level the scores before half-time, before going 3-2 up after the break.

With 20 minutes remaining, however, Connor Vincent levelled the scores before Taylor’s double sealed the victory.

Sub James Kaloczi made it six for Hertfordshire in added-on time.

Herts will now play either Isle of Man FA or Staffordshire FA in the next round.
