Berkhamsted Sunday Football League round-up

DRINKS were on Craig Sharples as he netted six times for Hemel Corinthians in their Herts Sunday Junior Cup win over Bar 62.

Jack Wilson, Laurence Putnam, Rupert Dan, Sam Rawlings, Joao Serenolli and Rob Woods completed the scoring in a 12-1 rout.

The Kings Arms, meanwhile, were slayed 8-4 by the Green Dragon despite goals from Fillipo Paris (2), Chris Wright and Scott Kosmalski.

And there was more bad news for the BSFL representatives as Boxmoor Rangers, The Old Bell Gate and Green Park Rangers were all eliminated from the competition.

Myer Fuller’s goal was not enough for Boxmoor in a 4-1 defeat at The White Bear, while Adam Raspass and Kirren Taylor scored in Gate’s 5-2 loss at Oxhey Estates.

Brett Rance netted the consolation for Rovers in their 3-1 defeat at AFC Tiddlers.

Elsewhere, Comets Sports Club Reserves came out on top in a five-goal thriller with the Queens Head.

A Scott Vaughan hat-trick put Comets 3-0 ahead in the League Intermediate Cup tie, and, despite goals from Alex Charge and Mike Hartley, Queens could not force an equaliser.

In the league, Hemel Town Celtic were the big Premier Division winners.

Crag McMahon (4) and Chad Pinching were on target in a 6-2 win over Boxmoor.Comets Sports Club also won well, with goals from Chris March (2), Luke Sharpley and Joel Williams earning the three points at Gossoms End.

Eddie Lawrence and David Maloney netted for Flaunden in their 2-1 win at AC Hemel, while Jay Austin secured a 1-0 victory for AFC Boars over The Herald.

Andy Wheeler-King and Niall Woods were the goalscorers in a 1-1 draw between Berko Tornadoes and Park Rangers.

In Division One, Warners End bagged a perfect 10 as they crushed Landrovers. Tommy Venner (4), Ned Ozkasim (3), Chris Parish, Lee Picknell and Tom Gray got the goals in a 10-0 win.

The Robin Hood were also hot in front of goal as they thrashed VFC 7-0. Tom Haynes (3), Jamie Pond, Todd Fraser, James Green and Dan To all found the net.

James Heward was the hat-trick hero for AFC Rovers in a 4-0 win over Greenacres II, Tom Hardy added the fourth.

Old Grey Mare also picked up a win, seeing off Sportspace 3-1 thanks to Anthony Beddall (2) and Dave Bayliss, while Berko Raiders and The Midland drew 3-3.

Tom Klymkiw, Rocco Cordara and Dave Wilson were on the scoresheet for Midland.

The Blackbirds were chirping once again in Division Two, as Rangers saw off FC Intervino 6-0. James Trill-Green, Tyler Smith, Karl Yarham, John Marsh and Paul Lellion did the damage.

Berko Tornadoes Reserves were also triumphant, seeing off Echoes 3-2 thanks to efforts from Ricky Shepherd (2) and Tom Morley.

Matt Honey and Al Gunning scored for KLCC in a 2-0 win over Tring Royals , while Drays Athletic and Run DFC shared a 3-3 draw.

Adam Durrant (2) and Russell Kercher netted for Drays, with Michael Eales, Liam Wyatt and Nana Agyeman replying for DFC.

The Steamcoach were on form in Division Three, securing a 4-0 win at AMG United thanks to goals from Ryan Campbell, Graham Aikman and Gina Metcalfe (2).

Pete Fowler, Darren Hewitt and Doug Simms earned a 3-2 win for The Three Blackbirds against AC Grapes, and Josh Henderson got the only goal as Potten End Sunday saw off Park Rangers Reserves.

In Division Four, The Three Tuns went goal-crazy as Alex Kingsley (4), Jonny Davis (3), David Thomas and Sam Curran scored in a 9-0 win over Hemel Corinthians Reserves.

The Olde Red Lion also won, seeing off Place FC 3-2 with goals from Dan Hutchinson, Lewis Downie and Craig Norval.
