West Herts League

HEMEL Rovers served up their best performance of the season as they beat a very strong Oxhey Jets A side 3-0.

In an excellent team showing, Rovers strikers Jordan Aikman, Tom Porter and Curtis Donaldson all scored well-struck goals.

SWR Doors also took three points as they secured a 4-1 victory at Croxley C&H. Dan Hartley bagged a brace for Doors, and efforts from Tom Smith and Alfie Mullan completed the tally.

Kings Sports beat Martin Baker 4-2, while Tring Athletic A could only manage a 0-0 draw at home to Hadley.

Elsewhere, Hemel Rovers Reserves will count themselves unlucky after a late own-goal from Ant Tankard saw them go down 3-2 to Park Street Reserves. Wasim Hussain notched both of Rovers’ goals.

Tring Athletic B recorded a 2-1 win at Daleys FC, while Hemel Sharpshooters saw off Oxhey Reserves 4-1. Goals from Nick Reynolds, Glen Howard and a double by Sean Sangster earned them the points.

Hemel Rovers’ third team, however, were smashed again – this time in an 9-0 defeat to Oxhey Jets B.

In cup competitions, Bovingdon lost 2-1 to Wellington Arms and Potten End went down 3-1 to Maple Cross despite a Dale Jenkins effort.

Gadebridge FC were beaten 4-2 at Boreham Wood.
