Richardson steps up to take charge at Athletic

editorial image

Tring Athletic FC coach and first team assistant manager Tony Armitage has left the club, with Ian Richardson stepping up from the reserves to take his place.

Richardson is a former professional footballer with experience in running and coaching sides, and he will assist first team manager Julian Robinson.

The reserves will continue to be run by Colin Phillips, with Stuart Stedman maintaining his player/coach role with assistance from Dave Whicker.

There is, however, an opportunity for someone – ideally with goalkeeping coaching skills – to assist the first and reserve teams at training and the reserves on a match day.

Anybody interested should send their details to Julian Robinson, at tringathleticfc@hotmail.com.
