Hemel Hempstead Town are looking to maintain their 100 per cent home record in the league so far this season when they take on Biggleswade Town at Vauxhall Road tomorrow.

The Tudors go into the game on the back of an 11-match unbeaten run, and Dean Brennan’s side have won each of their last eight fixtures.

Biggleswade, though, will be no pushovers and they currently occupy eighth place in the Calor League Southern Premier Division table. They have only lost once in their last six away games.

The Tudors last played at home on Boxing Day, when they beat Banbury United 5-3, before following that up with a crucial New Year’s Day victory at Chesham United to open up an eight-point gap at the top of the division.

Hemel go into the match as clear favourites, and football statistics and predictions website betstatz.com is backing another Hemel victory.

“Hemel remain the best home form team across Europe and the stats suggest they will maintain that title, although it will not be an easy game,” said betstatz owner Nick Gelis.

“Biggleswade have failed to find the net in just two of their last 23 games and their attacking form suggests they will score tomorrow.

“However, with Hemel possessing such attacking prowess – which is still the best across Europe this season – we can only see a Hemel win here.

“Therefore, this week we are predicting; a draw at H/T and Hemel to win by F/T, a correct score bet of 2-1 and over 2.5 goals.”
