Leverstock Green were beaten 2-1 at London Colney on Saturday in what turned out to be manager Dan Manzi’s last game in charge of the club.
Green had made a bright start to the game, but it was Colney who took the lead in the 14th minute as Dan Fitzgerald lashed home after Levy failed to react to a quick throw-in.
Levy responded well and had chances to level things up, but the second London Colney goal arrived after 35 minutes when Tom Smith deflected the ball into the net following a mix-up between keeper Dan Blacktopp and defender Tunde Owolabi.
Levy bossed the second half, but it took until the 86th minute for them to pull a goal back.
Chad Pinching was brought down for a penalty which Mark Campbell dispatched, but it was too little too late to save Levy or Manzi.
