Leverstock Green’s SSML Premier Division fixture at Stotfold on Tuesday night was abandoned due to high winds on Tuesday night.

It was the second time that the fixture had been abandoned – the original game back in September was abandoned after a nasty collision between Liam McDonagh and Stotfold’s Ben L’Honore.

As in the original game, Stotfold were leading 2-0 when the game was stopped – this time through goals from Theo Swaine and Charlie Joy inside the first 10 minutes.

Next up for Leverstock is a league clash at home to St Margaretsbury on Saturday afternoon, 3pm kick-off at Pancake Lane.
