Leisure Leagues Hemel Hempstead welcomed new boys Have You Got It to the Premier Division for their second outing this week.
They faced experienced side Fat Dads who were unusually under-resourced on the night.
Have You Got It established a 4-1 lead by half-time, mainly thanks to a superb performance by captain Asa Foster.
Fat Dads re-grouped well in the second half, but despite a wave of final minute attacks on goal, the newboys claimed a 5-4 victory.
Reigning league champions Chicken Kiev faced a test against skilful Jackson 5-a-side who led 2-1 at the half-time whistle.
Kiev regained composure in the second half and, with renewed confidence going forward, they were able to score a further two vital goals.
Man of the match Paul Paprotny was outstanding between the Kiev posts and ensured that his team did not concede again in the match, gaining them a narrow 3-2 win.
The Fellowship celebrated a sixth straight win on Sunday and managed to continue their run, unexpectedly, against Premiership leaders Puyol Pants Down.
Thanks to an inspiring performance from team captain Andy Jeffreys, who netted a hat-trick on the night, The Fellowship celebrated a potentially crucial two points which puts the Premiership runners-up spot firmly in their hands.
AEK Hemel were also uncharacteristically off-form this week as they faced Nice To Michu – who quickly established a lead in the game.
AEK Hemel made every endeavour to recover the deficit but Nice To Michu man of the match Dan Roberts was outstanding throughout and scored with an incredible volley 15-yards from goal.
AEK will now turn their attention to a potential title decider next week, as they face current Championship leaders, Fred West Ham.
The table toppers eased to a defiant 13-3 win against Norfolk & Chance as skilful Alex Jackson encouraged team mates to attack the Norfolk goal time and time again.
Norfolk were gracious in defeat and may fancy their chances against Brazilian boys Gremio next week.
Butterflies FC ran out winners in their tie against improving Hello Boss this week.
Adrian Tomczyk’s all-round team performance gained him the man of the match award for Butterflies who showed promising signs of their return to their best.
Dave Amos will look to continue his team’s progress as Hello Boss face Nice To Michu next week.
Premiership outfit Hemel Elite looked sharp in their points match with Butterflies, but could only manage a 6-6 draw.
Butterflies applied consistent pressure on the Elite goal and, thanks to an amazing goalkeeping display from Elite captain Chris Wyatt, his team were content with the draw.
Elite will look to carry their positive performance in to next week’s tie against Have You Got It.
