There were mixed fortunes for Kings Langley as they won a tight contest against Winslow United, but lost their heads to finish with nine men.

Kings took the lead when an Adam Hallissey cross eluded everyone but was rescued by Alex Campana, who swung it back for Jack Johnson to score with the lowest of headers.

Hallissey missed a chance to double the lead, before a short Johnson corner saw Campana pull the ball back for Dean Hitchcock to drill a low 20-yard shot past the keeper with the aid of a deflection.

The half closed with a Craig Preston header just over the bar, but Winslow came out strongly in the second half.

As the half progressed, Paul Insley was dismissed for not one complaint, but two, following a clear trip in the penalty area that was ignored, and Campana then saw a straight red for an equally undisciplined raising of a hand to an opponent.
