Berkhamsted 2
 Leverstock Green 2

Leverstock Green came from 2-0 down to claim a point at Berkhamsted, with Tobi Akin equalising a minute from time before being red-carded after the final whistle.

There is a lot of history between the two clubs – with a number of the Berko players and management team having made the switch from Pancake Lane to Broadwater – and the game got off to a quick-fire start as Berko opened the scoring inside two minutes.

A corner from Josh Chamberlain brushed off the head of a Levy defender into the path of Ross Miller, and the former Green player headed his side into an early lead.

Chamberlain shot narrowly wide in the seventh minute, but Leverstock began to play their way into the match and Ken Orenuga, Curt Dizon and Adiel Mannion all tried their luck at goal.

Four minutes before the break, Levy had the ball into the net courtesy of Orenuga, but the goal was disallowed for a foul on Berko keeper Carl Tasker.

And it was the Comrades who netted first at the start of the second half. Lewis Pritchard won the ball on the edge of the box, before slotting past Tom Coulton for a 2-0 Berko lead.

It was not long before Levy were handed a lifeline, however, as Jamie Gavin fouled Dizon in the box, allowing Akin to fire home from the spot and halve the deficit.

For the rest of the game it was Levy who were on top, and they finally managed to force the equaliser a minute from time.

Marvin Tabi found Akin, and the Green striker slammed the ball home to rescue a point for his side.

That was not the end of the drama, though, and the final whistle was greeted by a heated exchange which resulted in a red card for Akin.
