Rappers Professor Green and Wretch 32 made a special guest appearance at Hemel Hempstead Town Youth FC’s annual presentation evening.

To help celebrate the successes of their 364 players, who play football every week in the 26 teams in the club’s youth section, Hemel Town first team captain Jordan Parkes was also invited along to hand out trophies and awards.

Parkes is always very keen to support the youth section of the club and said he enjoyed seeing the smiles on the players’ faces as they were each awarded an end of season trophy.

There were also individual awards on the night for each team’s Most Improved Player, Managers’ Player and Players’ Player of the Season.

Professor Green and Wretch 32 handed out awards to the U18 team, including a special mention for the club’s longest serving player Charlie Rance who has played for HHTYFC since joining as a five-year-old.

Wretch 32 said: “It’s a real honour presenting the players their trophies in such a positive and fantastic atmosphere.”
