Golden Girls to hold education evening at Vicarage Road

Watford Ladies FC are inviting all female footballers to an education evening designed to help them progress their careers in the sport.

The event, which will take place on Tuesday, November 19 from 7pm, will be held at Watford FC’s Vicarage Road Stadium and is open to any female player who is interested in learning more about education opportunities within the game.

Watford Ladies FC manager John Salomon and Sam Takis from West Herts College will speak about Watford Ladies’ Female Academy and the integrated education programme at the college.

Former England player Faye White will also offer an insight into the educational opportunities at the University of Hertfordshire through their women’s football programme.

Jamie Lyons, a scholar athlete in the USA, will then discuss the opportunities for scholarships to study and play football in America.
