Hemel Stag Aces U14 Lions recorded an emphatic 14-0 victory over Panshanger Youth in their first home game since October 2012.

Ben Johnson, Mitch Bird, Daniel Steir (2), Kieran Domeney (3), Jake Strain (3), James Verney (3) and an own goal did the damage for the rampant Aces.

Comets Blues U8s were back to their efficient, clinical best as they romped to an 8-0 win over Tring Tornadoes.

Harry Bailey (2), Tommy Wadmore, Alfie Williams, Louie Potton (2), Taylor Barden and Max Lacey got the goals.

It was a good start to the year for Evergreen Juniors U13s as they saw off Everett Rovers 2-0.

Callum Mansell got both the goals, while Callum Wakefield was named man of the match.

Watford Ladies U10s got 2013 off to a winning start with a narrow 2-1 victory over Harpenden Colts in the HGFPL Division Two.

Charlie Clark scored both goals for Watford.

A fantastic second half fightback from Woodhall Wanderers U18 saw them recover from three goals down to earn a point in a 3-3 draw with Berkhamsted Raiders.

Led by captain James Axford, the team sprung into life when Liam Cowing netted a fine individual goal before quickly adding another.

It wasn’t long before Luke Coulter added Wanderers’ third with a stunning strike to earn his side the unlikely point.
