Hemel Aces Stags Wasps U11 3 - 1 Bovingdon, league cup

A cup encounter with a much improved Bovingdon side produced a real battle between two equally matched teams. Aces found it tough to get past an inspired visitors keeper but never stopped trying with Lewis Fisher eventually netting an equaliser followed by a second half brace from Louis Smith to secure the win.

Hemel Comets U11 Blue 4 – 8 Hemel Stag Aces U11 Lions

WEST HERTS LEAGUE - U12s

ST ALBANS BOREAL 2 v CHIPPERFIELD CORINTHIANS 0

Following a respectful minute silence yesterday both teams were ready and raring to go. Chipperfield who faced another game without a sub were not going to go away quietly. Boreal as ever a well organised team pushed the ball hard and and kept Chipperfields defence on their toes. However the Corinthians battled on and played an excellent team game to which the score line does not reflect their effort. Chipperfield defender Sam Scears was awarded the MoM trophy for his outstanding performance. Well done to both teams.

This weekend's result was Hemel Stages Aces U13s 8 – 0 Tring Tornandos

After last weeks disappointment of losing to Harpenden 2-1, Aces bounced back with a solid victory against Tring Tornandos with goals from O'Neal Oteng (3), Papi Boateng, Dominic Kelly, Kyfer Mayhew, Ross Jenkins and Conor Lowde. Harris Dadd was MOM with a commanding performance as captain.

Watford Friendly League

Berkhamsted Raiders U18s

Berkhamsted Raiders 4:4 Alexandra Park

Dan Rennison opened the scoring for Raiders converting James Wallman's corner with a smart header. James Wade added another and 'Powerhouse' James Williams netted two more. The second half looked good with Berko 4:1 ahead, but Palace started catching up and equalised in the last minute ending in a disappointing but fare draw.

Watford Friendly League U18

Belstone 1 Echoes Orange 3

Another very good team performance saw Echoes pick up a further three points and move to second in the table. The game was an excellent advertisement for youth football with plenty of flowing football. Kyle Batchelor put Echoes in front after 15 minutes confidently converting a precise Joe Wilson through ball. That remained the score until ten minutes from the end. Echoes defence was excellent with man of the match Ryan Oakley standing out whilst the forwards missed a few opportunities to clinch the game. Ten minutes from the end Ollie Gurney did add a second from a Chris Eccles pass. However Belstone then pulled one back from their only real opportunity of the game. Any nerves were settled however in the last few minutes when Ollie Gurney expertly flicked home an Emi Zavala free kick.
