Grovehill’s rising fighter Ed Arthur is going to be battling it out in the professional arena after winning his latest bout.
The 23-year-old competed in his last semi-professional fight at the Too Much Talent show in Thorpe Park on Saturday.
He dominated Hassan Abidi in both of the two five minute rounds before being declared the winner.
Ed said: “He was definitely one of the toughest guys I have fought.
“I caught him in a few submissions and he refused to tap.”
Now Ed, who trains under Denniston ‘Mad Max’ Sutherland at the Kings Langley Combat Fitness Centre, will face his first professional battle on July 27.
He also runs a Sunday kickboxing and fitness class for women at the centre from 4pm.
