Laura keeps the Storm raging

Hemel Storm have made a flying start to the season – in fact they have made a big impact since their regeneration last season.

The results have been tremendous given the relatively short amount of time coach Dave Titmuss and his team have had to work with the players, and the club’s success has been a real shot in the arm for basketball in Dacorum.

One thing that has plagued Storm so far this season, though, has been a devastating injury list – at one point the team’s entire starting five were out of action due to one injury or another.

And that is why the work of Laura Dent is so important.

The 23-year-old is the sports therapist for Storm. She has a degree in sports therapy from the University of Kent and has extensive sports therapy experience with athletes ranging from amateur to the elite.
