A popular high street charity store reopened its doors with a fresh new look and name on Saturday.

The Hospice of St Francis shop in Bovingdon’s High Street has been revamped and renamed Love to Give under the charity’s re-branding efforts.

Shop manager Michelle Oliver said: “I’m delighted with our new look shop and the comments we received on opening day from our regular shoppers were overwhelmingly positive. I think the new-look front will also entice new people and we look forward to welcoming them in for a browse and chat.”

The store will continue to sell homeware, books, toys and accessories and will retain a strong fashion focus.

All profits go towards funding the work of the Northchurch-based hospice, which offers free care to people living with life-limiting illnesses.

The shop is open Monday to Saturday from 9am to 5pm and donations can be dropped off between these times.
