Woman hit by car

A WOMAN aged 35 has been rushed to hospital after being hit by a car at about 7.45am today (Friday).

The East of England Ambulance Service were at the scene at the junction between Billet Lane and Gossoms End near Berkhamsted.

Service spokesman Gary Sanderson said: “The woman was treated at the scene by paramedics for a suspected fracture to her leg and she was taken to Watford General Hospital for further care.”
